Is an Online MBA valid for government jobs in India?

Yes, an Online MBA can be valid for government jobs in India, provided it is awarded by a university/programme that is recognized or entitled by the UGC for online education during the relevant admission session. UGC regulations treat recognized online postgraduate degrees as equivalent to corresponding conventional degrees. (UGC)

However, always check the specific government job notification, because the recruiting organization decides whether a particular qualification meets the post's eligibility requirements. (ugc.gov.in)
